Challenge: Kratos as a company was well known in the defense sector, but not as much in the satellite industry – a core and profitable business for the company. To increase awareness of Kratos in the satellite sector the objective was to develop some thought leadership programs.
Solution: A thought leadership program was developed through a co-marketing effort with the World Teleport Association (WTA). Kratos sponsored a report focusing on the future of the satellite industry entitled “The Teleport of Tomorrow. A Kratos executive was interviewed and his insights were included in the report. The report was posted on Kratos’ home page generating over 300 downloads. A second part of the thought leadership program included a webinar featuring a panel of senior executives including Michael DeMarco, Senior Vice President of Operations of Intelsat, Robert Kubbernus, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of Signalhorn, Stuart Daughtridge, VP of Advanced Technology from Kratos and Robert Bell, Executive Director of the World Teleport Association discussing the future of the satellite industry.
