Challenge: Kratos’ developed a network management product, NeuarlStar Service Quality Management (SQM) to help satellite service providers manage customer services and SLAs. Although, this type of product was well known in the IT and telecomm industry, it was new to the satellite industry. The challenge was to introduce the capability and its value to service providers in the satellite industry.
Solution: To generate awareness an article entitled “Transforming the Management Of Network Ops To Support Rapid Services Growth” was written and featured in Satellite Magazine. The article outlined how satellite service providers could take a business focused approach managing services and SLAs and concentrate less on the management of the underlying network and devices by taking a Service Quality Management (SQM) approach. In sum, service providers would be able to manage more services, maximize the revenue from existing SLAs, improve customer satisfaction and support the growth of the business. The article also included a call out section at the end promoting the value of the NeuralStar SQM product.
