Work for the technology and training division within Kratos, gaining increasing responsibility throughout the years. Responsible for three main areas: marketing and communications for the division, product marketing for satellite and network monitoring products and lead generation marketing programs and support for sales team.
From a marketing communications perspective my work has included developing and managing websites including Kratoscomms.com, Kratossecureinfo.com, and KratosDefense.com and supporting tradeshows and events as well as public relations efforts.
In support of product marketing efforts have put together go-to-market plans with associated budgets and schedules for the network and satellite monitoring product families which include ten products. Have also implemented marketing plans by working with product manager to create product value propositions, messaging, sales tools and campaigns to drive leads. A sample of sales tools has included a satellite monitoring product family brochure, and a host of pieces promoting the network products including an explainer video, an article and a white paper on five ways to improve QoS delivery for customers.
From a lead generation perspective have implemented several integrated marketing campaigns to drive leads. These campaigns have often included a webinar as the core component as well as a white paper, articles, emails and telemarketing to drive leads. Most campaigns have leveraged in-house lists and generated over 100 registrants and and 40 to 50% attendance and very high survey ratings of “Very good” to “Good” from 95 to 100% of attendees. These programs have been implemented in-house and without any budget.
